Many of our Hingham teachers at Pre-School Playmates have been a part of the school for 10 years now and our Lead Teachers hold degrees in Education. Everyone on our staff regularly attends Early Childhood Education workshops and all have multiple years of experience in the Early Childhood Education field. One thing is consistent…they all truly love children and it shows!
Ms. Maryann Landry is the Owner and Executive Director of Pre-School Playmates. Formerly a first grade teacher, Ms. Landry started her first school in 1980 and now operates schools in Hingham, Abington and Bridgewater. In addition to overseeing the day-to-day management of the programs Ms. Landry is also responsible for developing the curriculum, supervising and training the staff and acts as the primary contact point for parents and the community. Ms. Landry has 3 children and she lives in Duxbury, MA.
Mrs. Maryann Andronico, the school’s Director, has been a Lead Teacher at Pre-School Playmates since 2001 and a preschool teacher since 1999. Mrs. A has a degree in Education and is Director qualified. She has a tremendous ability to always make each and every child feel special and has developed an incredible program for our pre-kindergarten children to achieve excellent literacy skills. Mrs. A was a first grade teacher before becoming a preschool teacher. She plays the guitar and brings a wonderful sense of instrumental music to our program. She is also married with two children of her own.
Ms. Christy Glover is a Lead Teacher in our program and has her degree in Occupational Therapy. Ms. Glover joined Pre-School Playmates in 2004 and has a wonderful ability to work with all children, including those with special needs, as a result of her background and experience. The children really enjoy Ms. Glover’s fun and happy ways. She has been a preschool teacher for over 13 years and brings great curriculum ideas to our school. She is on the Board of Directors of the Lucky Lab Rescue Association and lives in Revere.
Mrs. Karen Roy has been a Lead Teacher for 19 years and has been at Pre-School Playmates for 7 years. She has her degree in Education and brings a tremendous amount of knowledge to our program. Many of her curriculum ideas have been incorporated into ours. Mrs. Roy is wonderful with children and has a very calming effect on them. She is married and has two children of her own.
Mrs. Kathy Graham has been a Teacher at Pre-School Playmates for 10 years and has been a preschool teacher for 12 years. She is Teacher qualified by the state EEC Program and her love for children adds a wonderful sense of warmth to her classroom. Mrs. Graham has a wonderful way to make everyone always feel welcome in her classroom. She is married and has two children of her own.
Mrs. Marguerite Califano is a Teacher that joins us each afternoon and has been with us since 2005. Mrs. C spends her mornings as a Teacher’s Assistant in the public school system and has worked in the past in an all-day kindergarten program as well as a one-on-one teacher’s assistant. She comes to school with a big smile on her face each and every day and is loved by all the children. Mrs. C is married, lives in Rockland and has 2 children of her own.
Mrs. Susan Dolabany is a Teacher in Mrs. Glover’s 4 Year Old classroom and has been at Pre-School Playmates for 2 years. Before having children of her own Mrs. D. was the Director and teacher at the Clapboardtree School in Westwood. She loves to teach the children pre-reading skills and comes to school every day with her bag full of new and exciting library books which help to enhance our early literacy program. Mrs. D is married, lives in Norwell, has 3 children of her own and is a classically trained vocalist.
Ms. Justine Berryman is a Teacher in Mrs. Roy’s 3 Year Old classroom and joined Pre-School Playmates in 2011. Ms. Berryman graduated with honors with a degree in Sociology and has spent significant time in various classroom settings before joining us. Ms. Berryman is also an active volunteer. She lives in Abington and loves camping and other outdoor activities.
Ms. Kristin Pusateri is a Lead Teacher in Mrs. Roy’s 3 Year Old classroom and also joined Pre-School Playmates in 2011 after having spent several years as a nanny for one of our former families. Ms. Pusateri graduated with a degree in Early Childhood Education and Information & Library Science and was most recently a Lead Teacher in a preschool on the south shore. Ms. Pusateri lives in Abington, along with her sheltie name Cindy, and enjoys singing and cooking.
