Allyn R Gardner - Managing Partner
Allyn Gardner is a Career Transition Coach who has been engaged in all aspects of corporate recruitment. He is also a trained career management coach and possess over twenty 25 yrs experience in the selection, assessment and recruitment of executives for major corporations,.
He is affiliated with Right Management, an international career management-consulting firm, and is managing partner of Brookside Consulting Partners. In addition to his own coaching practice, Allyn provides Leadership and Career Management coaching to students at Babson College and the Harvard Business School. He is also a volunteer mentor with Conexion- an organization that provides mentoring to high potential Latino professionals.
He has had numerous consulting engagements with companies in Technology, Software Development, Healthcare, Consumer Products, Financial Services and Manufacturing. His Clients have included: Citizens Bank, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Virginia, J P Morgan Chase, Hasbro, BBN Computer Systems, Timberland and General Electric.
Prior to starting his coaching practice in 2005, Allyn has served in several senior staffing roles within Fidelity Investments starting in 1992 where he developed and managed a program to recruit critical college talent for Fidelity’s technology company. He went on staff executives roles in technology, finance and a variety of administration and operations management positions.
Because of his deep corporate experience, he is able to bring “ the other side of the desk “ perspective to coaching his clients. Recognizing that the job search requires the ability to understand ones strengths and acknowledge ones accomplishments, Allyn coaches his clients in assessing these capabilities and integrating this awareness into all aspects of his clients’ search strategies and presentations.
Mr. Gardner is alumnus of The American University in Washington DC with a Masters in Public Administration and holds a Bachelor of Sciences degree from the University of Massachusetts, Boston. He received his coach training with the Coach Training Institute and The Institute for Personal Empowerment Coaching.
